I'm Rizz. Tanzanian. I make music out of real life — not a formula, not a trend. Just whatever is true at the time I'm writing it.
Nothing I release is invented. Every record starts somewhere real: something I lived, something I watched happen, something I'm still becoming. That's why this was never going to be a side thing for me. It isn't a career move. It's how I keep a record of my own life.
"Welcome to my world."
The wins and the losses land in the same place. So does the pressure. The waiting. The lessons nobody asks for. The ambition that won't sit still. I don't separate any of it — it all finds its way into the sound eventually. That's the whole idea behind what I do: turn real life into records that still mean something in ten years. Not chasing what's moving right now — chasing the truth of the moment I'm actually standing in.
Right now, that truth is Descending Down — hustle, faith and survival, out now everywhere. It isn't the end of anything. It's one chapter, and the story is still being written.
I'm just getting started.
